A downloadable game

Joint Recall is a 2D extraction shooter where you need to escape from a horror movie building, while a lot of strangers are trying to do the same. All players have common goals, monsters, puzzles and very limited resources. That’s why everybody must decide: to cooperate with other people or be against them to take more resources or complete one of the optional secret tasks. So, the game is all about meeting people in a classic horror situation, where it’s really difficult to survive alone, but you're completely unaware of other people's agenda.

Yes, this game is in active development and will be released in 2025. If you are interested and want to follow this game for updates, please follow this game on the itch.io page and on the steam page.

  • Immerse yourself in classic survival horror gameplay with the search for items and monster battles, but with a pinch of multiplayer.
  • Location scheme, puzzles, placement of objects and enemies, even exit points - all this is randomly generated and makes every session unique.
  • The main goal is one for all: get out of the building. But each player has additional secret tasks, which can conflict with each other. And the reward is so precious...
  • …at the same time, you need to assemble a whole team to open some shortcuts, monsters are strong and each character has a "stress scale", which is filled if the player is alone.
  • Your actions can change not only your gameplay: spray poison one floor above to hurt other players, throw a mutagen into the ventilation to weaken or strengthen monsters, help save a character who is important to another player, or kill him and become the object of revenge.
  • Find valuable loot that will give you more than a numerical increase. Is poisonous slurry on the floor hurting you? Find durable boots. Tired of invisible enemies? Throw a can of paint at them.
  • And get ready for real danger. After all, monsters are capable of a variety of tricks: disguise, blackouts, teleportation and many more...
